It is no longer rumour that the Federal Government, through the Federal Ministry of Education, has decided to bring an end to the conduct of post-UTME by all tertiary institutions. However, it is important to note that this order is billed to take effect from next year (2017) if it will stand. On the other hand, the words of the Federal Minister of Education are suggestive and not authoritative. What this means is that

The Faculty of  Social Sciences, University of Nigeria is inviting all students to her annual picnic which would take place on the 4th of June. The picnic will be held at the great Obunike Cave  and Awka-Wonderland in Anambra State. Excited huh?! Yes!!! Entertainment and fun at its peak. The university earlier announced her resolution to handle all correspondence to and from students and staff through the university emails. Thus, in communicating scholarship and empowerment opportunities, results and online course registrations, etc. your UNN email address is the only channel.

We at the Students' Union Government are in full support of this move by the university administration and we have also gone a step ahead to get official email addresses for all the executive offices.
