OUTCOME OF THE VISIT TO THE COMMISSIONER

*OFFICE OF THE INFORMATION OFFICER , STUDENTS ' UNION GOVERNMENT, UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA*

FROM THE PRESIDENT'S DESK
I bring  aluta greetings to you my beloved lions and lionesses in the den.

Following our assurance of your safety and protection of your constitutional right towards the *random SARS arrest,* I with other executives went for a courtesy visit to the commissioner of police on the 9th of this month.

After presenting our case to him, he assured that a case of arresting innocent students will be halted from the the above said date onwards.
He assured us that any innocent student arrested would be released within 24 hours.

He further gave preventive measures like:
1⃣. Every student MUST walk with his/her school 🆔 handy. In other to differentiate student from non-students.

2⃣. Every student should avoid implicating environment like places where hard drugs are sold.

The commissioner finally said that anyone found guilty of hard drug or caught in any bad act will be arrested.

I therefore crave for your indulgence in making this university community a better place for us all.

*Aluta Continua, Victoria Ascerta*

*Yours-in-the-struggle,*
