2015 Students' Entrepreneurship Week

The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Development Research is organizing Students Entrepreneurship week.
The Centre was the first to organize the Student Entrepreneurship Summit in 2011. This year’s student entrepreneurship week will serve as motivation to students towards changing their mindset to job creators instead of job seekers. The proposed entrepreneurship week is expected to line up programmes and events such as; talks, lectures, exhibition and competition from within and outside the university.
This students’ entrepreneurship week has a theme tagged: “Graduates’ Self Employment, A Veritable Tool for Nation Building”. The event will showcase outstanding entrepreneurs who have projected entrepreneurship to a wider society as well as contributed positively to views and aspiration of the private – public partnership, job creation and friends of the students. In addition, in recognition of their roles within and outside Nigeria in terms of zeal for excellence and passion for industry and entrepreneurship the Centre will be presenting an award tagged “Pillar of South East Entrepreneurship” on that day to the deserving invitees.
The duration for this year’s entrepreneurship week is three days. The main events in the specific days are as follows:
Day One:
Road shows to inform the community about the events
Day Two:
Entrepreneurship Lecture/exhibition of entrepreneurship by students
Day Three:
