Re: Resumption Date for Second Semester, 2014/2015 Academic Session

This is to inform all students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka that we are aware of the confusion students are facing as concerns the resumption date for the second semester, 2014/2015 academic session. The Information Officer is working seriously in his effort to ascertain the actual resumption date from the school authority. While on this, we advise
that you all have Monday, 13^th April 2015 in mind as this may be the most likely date for resumption.

You will recall that the academic calendar the university is working with has 26^th March, 2015 as the resumption date but this became unrealistic due to the shift in the elections. These elections are billed to conclude on Saturday, April 11^th, 2015. After this date, nothing stops the university from resuming academic activities.

While the above date (13^th April, 2015) is still unconfirmed, we do not want you to be caught unawares. We therefore advise that you prepare your minds to resume on this date. As soon as we confirm from the university authority, we will inform you.
