DEFECATING OUTSIDE THE CONVENIENCE ROOMS

The Implementation Committee on Environment wishes to draw the attention of the University Community to the unwholesome attitude of some members of the community who defecate in small bushes and obscure corners within the campus. This attitude is shameful, disgraceful and embarrassing to the University. Regrettably, it has been carried on Facebook and published in some Nigerian Newspapers thereby making mockery of the highly esteemed mottoe of the University - 'To Restore the Dignity of Man'.

The Committee therefore

wishes to appeal to every member of the community, particularly our students, to have regard for the University Environment and desist from defecating outside the convenience rooms. From the date of this publication, any person caught in this unwholesome behaviour will be appropriately sanctioned.

The members of the University Community are hereby requested to report any person found defecating in the bush or in obscured corners to the security office or call any of the telephone numbers listed below:
